A rat snake in Georgia is alive thanks to a team of doctors at
the Sea Turtle Center on Jekyll Island.
The center reports the grey rat snake was recently found in a chicken coop in north Georgia.
In its stomach were two golf balls
that the snake surely thought were chicken eggs.
Veterinarians say they were able to cut the golf balls out of the snake
with little complications but are monitoring the snake for any type of
infection. The snake will be released when it has fully recovered.
