This is a composite image from NASA’s
Solar Dynamics Observatory that
shows a series of significant solar eruptions occurring over a
three-day period in January, 2013. The photo has light wavelengths that
are colored in red, green and blue to better outline the eruption
dynamics. It would make a beautiful painting.
