Murder trial unmasks Germans who believe the Reich never ended
The trial of a man accused of murdering a police officer in Bavaria has
brought renewed attention to the so-called “Reichsbürger”, a mixed bag
of far-right ideologues, tax dodgers and oddballs who reject the
authority of the modern German state.
