A year ago a team of New Zealand researchers found a slew of interesting species in Antarctic waters.Some of the animals they discovered in the Ross Sea may be entirely new to science.
National Geographic has a slideshow of the beautiful creatures. Seen in the photo, an Antarctic octopus collected 3,280 feet down.
