Marie
Hunt of Spring Green, Wisconsin was supposed to graduate from high
school in 1928. But she had to drop out of school after the eighth grade
in order to take care of her younger siblings. Later, she worked as a
store clerk, a childcare provider, and owned a business with her
husband.
The high school diploma remained unfinished business.
She wanted it. And on Friday, River Valley High School awarded Ms. Hunt
one in a ceremony at the assisted living facility where she lives.
