And I Quote

"You’re living in a world that no longer exists. I, along with millions of Americans, clearly see the world the way it as - and we embrace what it can be. You, on the other hand, seem incapable of looking for new ideas or moving beyond what worked in the past ... Obama's election is a movement of the people that you most fear. It’s a movement of progress - and your words on FOX News only show how truly desperate you are to maintain control of a world that is changing before your very eyes."

~ Candace Gingrich, writing to her brother Newt,

Truth About Political Philosophies

With all the yammering from the Radicals as this graph so aptly puts it you would think that the politics of America would be skewed to the wing-nuts' side of the median.
However, you would be in error to think so.

As the graph clearly shows the political leanings of Americans are squarely center and to the left of center ... where they have always been since the inception of the nation ... and where they have reasserted themselves this past November 4, 2008.

So do not listen to the lies coming from the radicals about how this nation is 'center-right' nation.
It never was. It never will be ... despite how many times they say it.

Labor Activist Acquitted

A Malaysian court on Monday acquitted a prominent labor activist who was arrested 12 years ago for claiming that police tortured illegal immigrants in detention.

The Kuala Lumpur High Court ruled in favor of Irene Fernandez, the director of the human rights group Tenaganita, who had appealed a one-year prison sentence issued in 2003 for maliciously publishing false news.

"I'm so happy that finally truth and justice prevailed," Fernandez, 62, said. "I should never have been charged in the first place."

She was arrested in 1996 for reporting that illegal immigrants were tortured at detention centers but remained free on bail while fighting her case.
Seven years later, she was sentenced to one year in prison but appealed.

Musical Elves?

Someone left a piano in the woods around Harwich, Massachusetts and people don't know why.
Why? That's simple ... so the woods elves will have a piano to play their music on!
Discovered by a woman who was walking a trail, the Baldwin Acrosonic piano, model number 987, is intact -- and, apparently, in tune.

The piano was at the end of a dirt road, near a walking path to a footbridge in the middle of conservation land near the Cape.
