That's quonking - not honking -and it's something people should avoid if they are on radio or television.
Quonking ... the extra sounds, like throat clearing and sighing, that can be picked up by the microphone or that may distract the announcer or guest.
So, as of now, Carolina Naturally - ahem - has been declared a 'No Quonking Zone'!
