Spain to proceed with War Crimes Trials

A Spanish Judge, Baltasar Garzón, will proceed with war crime prosecutions against six Bush-Cheney administration officials: then-VP Cheney's chief of staff David Addington, former Assistant Attorney General and current Federal Judge Jay Bybee, former Under-Secretary of Defense Doug Feith, former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, former Defense Department general counsel William Haynes II, and former Deputy Assistant Attorney General and now law professor at the University of California at Berkeley John Yoo.

Thank you, Spain and Judge Garzón.

Wait, there's more.

Garzón has also announced a preliminary criminal inquiry into other as-yet un-named Bush-Cheney officials over US torture policies at Guantanamo.

More here.
