The Border Patrol said a man has been arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle 24 pounds of marijuana ashore on his surfboard off the San Diego County coast.

Authorities said a man upset with how his case was going bolted from a Cincinnati courtroom and was chased by police officers on hand to testify in other cases.
