In this image made off MRTV video footage, a rare white elephant is caught in the jungles in Maungdaw township in northwestern Rakhine state, Burma.

 A rare white elephant has been captured in the jungles of northwestern Burma, a mostly Buddhist country where the animals are considered good omens, state media reported Tuesday.
