Jack Layton, the leader of Canada's New Democratic Party, died Monday. Jack knew he was going, and so he wrote a beautiful, stirring open letter to Canada, to his party, to his caucus, and to the world.Here are his last public words: "My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world."
