Makes 2 cups of sauce.
- 1 cup ketchup
- ½ cup tomato puree
- ½ cup tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon granulated garlic
- 2 teaspoons light brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 6 ounces water
Combine all ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil. Turn
heat down, and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove pan
from heat, then let cool to room temperature.
Refrigerate until ready to use.
