A nearby alien planet six times the size of the Earth is
covered with a water-rich atmosphere that includes a strange plasma form
of water.
Through the combined power of two NASA space telescopes, the
clouds hanging high in an alien atmosphere have been mapped for the
first time.
As sun-like stars age, they will force the habitable zone
outward, cooking previously life-giving orbits, like Earth's -- ancient
red dwarf stars, however, remain stable for much longer, perhaps
nurturing vastly more intelligent life.
