Fossils for a scrappy, Italian canine that lived 2 million
years ago are helping researchers to better understand the evolution of
wolves and dogs.
The devil frog was slightly smaller than previously thought,
had massive spikes protruding from its skull, and a plate of body armor
on its back.
A toothy, long-nosed skull found in Texas belonged to a swamp monster that lived more than 200 million years ago.
