A Robotic Pilot To Fly Planes That Were Designed To Be Operated By Humans
In South Korea, researchers are developing a robotic pilot
that could one day replace humans in the cockpit. Unlike drones and
autopilot programs configured for specific aircraft, the humanoid design
of 'Pibot' robots would allow them to fly any type of plane. The
project is based at South Korea's Advanced Institute of Science and
Technology.
