A couple from the Maroubra suburb of Sydney, Australia, woke in the
middle of the night to find a naked Irishman in bed with them at their
home.
Katie woke shortly before 2am on Monday to find a man she did not know
in bed with her and her partner Chris.
Katie got out of bed and woke Chris, who challenged the man.
"So Chris is on one side, I'm in the middle, and then our stranger on the end right in with us," Katie said.
"I could feel heat, the sense that someone was there.
"That's kind of the scary part, how long he may have been looking at us thinking it's a good idea to get into bed with these guys." The intruder then picked up his clothes and walked outside to the backyard as Katie called the police. As the couple waited for police to arrive, the man climbed back into the house through a kitchen window and wandered around the home.
Police arrived at the house and placed the 25-year-old in the back of the police vehicle where he began to convulse due to what paramedics believe could be drug-related health issues.
He was taken to Prince Of Wales Hospital and will undergo medical and mental health checks.
He will be interviewed by police when released from hospital but is due to return home to Ireland in a couple of days.
