A mystery boat was landlocked on Chief Peguis Trail in Winnipeg, Canada, for about an hour on Sunday afternoon.
The fiberglass boat, with motor attached, appeared in an eastbound turning lane at around 12:30pm.

“It was a pretty odd place to park a boat,” witness
Russ Young said. “I thought it was weird that it was sitting perfectly
straight. It was dead center in the middle of the lane.”
A police spokesman said they received complaints about the boat portaging on the prairie at around 12:30pm. A unit was dispatched but the boat had somehow motored away by 1:30pm. It’s presumed the boat slipped off a trailer but that and its removal remain a mystery.
