Family seeks murder charges after gay man injured in hammer attack takes own life
Mitcheal Pope suffered severe head injuries
in the Oct. 13, 2014, attack in the lobby of his Crown Heights apartment
by a man who called him a “fucking faggot” during the brutal beating.
