A mother from Salem, New Hampshire,has been charged with endangering the
welfare of a child after her 2-year-old daughter was run over by a car
with her 7-year-old sister in the driver's seat.Amylynn Boehm, 27, has been charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of allowing an improper person to operate a vehicle after she gave her 7-year-old daughter permission to go outside and start her car.
The 7-year-old was able to shift the car into reverse and the car began to move backwards until it ran over her 2-year-old sister, who had followed her outside. Police said Boehm was not outside at the time and came to help her daughter when she heard the 7-year-old scream for help.
