People
are constantly saying "they don't make them like they used to", a
folksy statement that doesn't really apply to many things despite what
the speaker had in mind.But there is one thing they truly don't
make like they used to- automobiles. The cars made in the early to
mid-20th century were built to last a lifetime or more if properly cared
for and driven safely.
Case in point- this 2011 video from the
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel featuring Grace Braeger showing off her cherry 1957 Chevrolet, which is the first and only car Grace has ever bought.
