The surprising catholic roots behind the so-called 'war on Xmas'
While the “War on Xmas” has become a reliable wingnut evangelical culture-war issue, its originators, at least in it’s modern incarnation, were two wingnut catholics: Fox 'News'’ Bill O’Reilly and culture-war crank Bill Donohue of the catholic league.
