Pecan pie is always a great treat, but those who truly adore the treat know that the best filling in the world still needs a light, flaky filling to really make the most of the dessert. If you've been having issues nailing the right crust, then maybe you should start thinking outside the pie -that is, consider trying an egg roll wrapper instead. It might sound crazy if you're used to traditional egg rolls that are filled with soy sauce, meat and cabbage, but if you've ever had sweet cream cheese won tons then you know the light dough can be a perfect balance of flaky and crunchy.
