A UFO Is Closing in on Earth and NASA Is Covering It Up, According to YouTubers

Open your eyes, sheeple.

One of the nice things NASA does is stream live footage from the International Space Station as it orbits the Earth 16 times a day. It's pretty calming stuff—until a UFO enters the picture. Then all bets are off.

On July 9, NASA was streaming footage from the ISS when YouTuber Streetcap1 spotted something (aliens? probably aliens) entering the Earth's atmosphere. But as the object (again, almost 100 percent aliens) nears our planet, the NASA feed cut out. While Streetcap1 points out it could be a meteor, we've seen Independence Day. We know what's up. You can see the video below:

That video was quickly picked up by dozens of other YouTube channels. Soon, extremely reputable sources of scientific journalism such as Express.co.uk were quickly on the case, with stories like SHOCK ALIEN CLAIM: 'NASA cuts the ISS live feed moments after UFO appears.'

Curious as to why NASA would cover up such obvious evidence of an impending alien attack, we called them to get some answers.

"We have never seen UFOs in the popular sense," said a NASA spokesperson, after a long, deep sigh. "The feed in question is the High Definition Earth Viewing experiment. Anytime the ISS has a signal, that feed is sending down video."

But when the High Definition Earth Viewing system loses signal, the video stream goes dark. "The feed is not switched manually," said the spokesperson. "It's all done automatically. There's nobody at a control board. We used a space-based data relay network. It gives us a very good coverage area, but you do lose signal occasionally—anywhere from a couple of seconds to a couple of minutes. It varies from day to day."

Which, of course, is just what they would want you to believe.

So what about that light in the video? Sure, if could be any number of things: a reflection on the lens of the camera, radiation hitting a sensor in the High Definition Earth Viewing system, a satellite, a meteor, or one of the tens of thousands bits of space debris currently circling the planet.

But come on, who're you gonna believe: a bunch of know-it-all scientists at NASA or some YouTube videos with scary music? We'll stick with the frightening YouTube videos, thank you very much.

A man from central Pennsylvania, currently at Cumberland County Prison in connection with a rash of burglaries now faces new charges after a human brain was found at a home in Penn Township.

On Thursday, Joshua Lee Long, 26, of Carlisle, was charged with misdemeanor abuse of a corpse and conspiracy to commit abuse of a corpse after a human brain was found in a Walmart shopping bag under the porch of Robbie Lee Zoller, a home that Long was known to frequent, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed by Pennsylvania State Police.
Police said a relative of Long’s found the brain and contacted him in prison to ask about it. Long told the woman that it was a human brain and that he and Zoller sprayed the formaldehyde used to embalm the brain on marijuana that they then smoked. Long later confirmed the story to police and said that he and Zoller had named the brain “Freddy.”
Police seized the brain and transported it to Cumberland County Coroner Charley Hall, who later said a forensic pathologist determined it was a real human brain, police said. Police said it was believed the brain was a stolen teaching specimen. Long is currently in Cumberland County Prison being held in lieu of $100,000 bail for his role in a rash of burglaries in Cumberland and Perry counties. Zoller is also wanted in connection to the burglaries.

A thief picked up more than they bargained for whilst ransacking allotments in County Durham overnight on Tuesday.

The criminal probably thought they had struck it lucky when they chanced upon a bottle of rum in a greenhouse at The Pollards Allotments in Bishop Auckland.
But gardeners hope that revenge will be far from sweet as the rum was mixed with quarter of a liter of lactulose - a laxative which if consumed could cause diarrhea and stomach cramping.
Bob Latcham, a committee member at the site, said: “It was made up for someone who is poorly, if the person who stole it drank it I hope they’ve been stuck on the toilet ever since. Maybe they’ve left a trail behind them for police to follow so they can find out who is to blame.”

Woman claims false teeth were stolen from her mouth while she was sleeping

Police in South Carolina responded to a report of an unusual robbery case at around 1:45pm on Wednesday.

A 33-year-old woman called the Union County Sheriff's Office to report that someone stole her dentures from her mouth while she slept.
She told deputies she fell asleep on the couch in the living room with her upper plate of teeth in her mouth. When she woke up, her teeth were missing.
She says someone must have come into her home when she was sleeping and stole the teeth out of her mouth. The teeth were valued at $900. Deputies asked her to let them know if she finds the teeth around her house.

Man and woman arrested after riding home on stolen lawnmower while naked

Jasper County sheriff's deputies arrested a couple reported to be riding naked on Tuesday morning near Joplin, Missouri, on what proved to be a stolen lawn mower.

“We received a call that there were two individuals driving down the road on a lawnmower naked,” said Jasper County Detective Tim Williams. Deputies responded at 8:42am to a home with a riding mower parked in the front yard.
Detective Williams said 55-year-old Larry Webster and 40-year-old Tanya Hopper, admitted that they rode the lawn mower home naked after their clothes were stolen while they were skinny dipping in a creek.
Williams said further investigation determined that the lawn mower did not belong to either of them, and they were arrested on suspicion of felony stealing and indecent exposure.

Man stole money from cars to indulge in his love of pizza

Police say a 21-year-old man staked out pizza joints during a month long burglary spree, not to empty their registers, but to find a good slice to buy with the money he’d rummaged from unlocked cars. Dany Y. Ortiz from Cicero, Illinois, faces a felony county of burglary to a motor vehicle for his tasting tour that spanned six towns, according to Riverside police.

Police were first called on July 2 to an unlocked car that had been burgled in a driveway. Home surveillance footage showed a man wearing pajama pants and slippers rifling through the vehicle, police said. Over the next week, numerous break-ins were reported to unlocked cars, though the burglar appeared to ignore valuable electronics in favor of loose change and dollars, police said.
A homeowner spotted a suspicious vehicle nearby at the time of one of the burglaries, and police were able to track its license plates to Ortiz’s home, where he was found smoking pot on the front porch on July 11, police said. Ortiz, a self-described “lover of pizza” who “wanted to try all kinds”, later admitted that he had gone out in May to identify pizza restaurants in Berwyn, Cicero, River Forest, Oak Park, North Riverside and Riverside, police said. He said he then went back to those towns to find money in cars overnight so he could buy slices, police said.
“That statement in itself is usual and demonstrates the length offenders will go to get what they want - in this case pizza,” Riverside Police Chief Tom Weitzel said. “This is one of the most unusual and bizarre burglary patterns I have ever come across in my 31 years in law enforcement.” Police, who dubbed Ortiz the “Pizza Man,” are still reaching out to people whose cars were broken into over the last month. Ortiz’s court information was not immediately available. His favorite pizza joint was the Slice Factory in Oak Park, police said.

Fox nursed back to health with pizza

A fox has been nursed back to health by a couple in Yeovil, Somerset, after developing a taste for pizza. Jimmy the urban fox, who is actually a female, turned up in the couple's quiet back garden three years ago. The feral vixen was emaciated, suffering from a serious case of mange which left her with painful scabs and bald patches.

The loyal nocturnal predator now returns to the Hawker's home most nights for dinner and evens wanders into their conservatory looking for a slice of pizza. Maxine and Tony Hawker got some medication from the vet and mixed in into dog food and watched as Jimmy slowly gained strength and recovered by sunbathing on their lawn.
She makes special trips to discount supermarkets to stock up on cheap cheese pizzas for Jimmy, which she cooks twice a week alongside her own dinner. Maxine, 64, said: "It's not every night - she'll come for a few nights in a row, and then we won't see her for a while. For the last four weeks she has started to come with a little cub. This dear little cub is only three or four months old. We did wonder because recently she was taking so much back and then coming and eating herself.

"She usually comes between 6pm and 9.30pm and sometimes first thing in the morning. I used to feed her dog food but I read up about them and it said that foxes prefer sweet food. A few months ago I had the grandchildren around and I had made them a pizza and there was some left over, so I left it out for him. I saw how quickly she took it and he loved it, so now I buy cheap ones for her. I feed her the pizza twice a week. It's ever so funny because when I leave dog food and she looks at me as if to say 'where's the rest?'" Maxine and Tony named the fox Jimmy before later realizing it was a female.

Show cow banned in udder tampering probe

A case of alleged udder tampering has resulted in an exhibitor being banned from the Great Yorkshire Show.
The incident involved a winning nine-year-old cow entered into the dairy classes at this year’s show, which was stripped of its champion title and the reserve champion was promoted in its place. Show organizers, the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, did not give details of the reason for ban, but it is believed the incident involved enhancing the udders of a dairy cow in breach of show regulations.
Nigel Pulling, chief executive of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, confirmed the dairy animal had been disqualified with immediate effect and any other animals entered by the competitor would be unable to compete at the show for a further three years. The exhibitor will be given the right to appeal. "We can confirm that a dairy animal has been disqualified after an incident of tampering which breached the Great Yorkshire Show regulations," he said.
"We take any allegation of tampering very seriously as the welfare of animals is paramount." Such incidents are rare, but not unheard of. A big win at a major agricultural show can increase the value of an animal and its offspring by thousands. Known methods of improving the appearance of cattle for the judges involve pumping up udders with liquid or gas, sealing teats or painting them.
