These 'people' are 100% from the political right so it begs the question ... Is the mindset of those of the right so perverted that reason and evidence can make no appearance or alter that mindset?
Selfish, overbearing, controlling, reactionary, hating, discriminating, racist, intolerant, phobic in general, paranoid (in some cases extremely paranoid), non-accepting of: change, difference, new ideas, other cultures - all and more are descriptive of these 'people' ... it is a very sad state of affairs when that list is your redeeming qualities.
These individuals (a misnomer, as they flock en masse - individual thought is forbidden and unthinkable), raise a hew and a cry claiming to be "conservatives". But they are nothing of the sort. They are Fascists/Nazis.
Real conservatives are now Liberals. Just listen to Jack Cafferty and James Kirkpatrick when they speak these days to see what I mean. Of course, this means that they and others like them can no longer be considered on the 'right' of the political spectrum.

Well, they come and they go. I suppose they're self regenerating, because surely no one would sex them up.
I do wonder, though, if they are not sometimes reincarnations of themselves.
