Nudism
Nudism is a lifestyle philosophy. It has been around as a nebulous thing since air. Throughout the entire history and 'pre-history' of man being nude was the normal state we lived in. Even today being nude is more common than being clothed in parts of the world.
Nudism as a collective thought pattern as it is today came about in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and fully congealed in Germany during the Wiemar Republic era after World War One and spread worldwide from there.
Now the 'philosophical' outlook of the 'industrialized' nations matched the 'common sense' outlook of the 'non-industrialized' nations again where the clothing obsession had never taken root to begin with - clothing was worn for protection from the elements when it was worn at all.
Social status slowly became attuned to the 'doodads' one had adhered the one's protective clothing in some societies (which unfortunately where the most violent and aggressive and therefore 'conquered' the world - bringing their obsessions with them) and the obsession with outdoing one another led to the 'adoption' of remaining clothed despite the lack of need to do so.
Now the circle has come full and the need for clothing is back to what it is for - protection from the elements. Don't get me wrong nudists like clothes too, some are clothes horses - just look into the Mrs., closet and you will see how much of a clothes horse a nudist can be ... she just never wears any of them.
