Until now Franklin Pierce has had the distinction of being the worst president ever according to history.
He no longer has that distinction ... but his great-great-great-grandson does.
As it happens Franklin Pierce is a great great grandfather of one Barbara Bush,
so this Worst President Ever business runs in the family.
