The Georgian town house at 3 Abbey Road was purchased in 1929 and turned into a studio. The Beatles are most closely associated with it because they did most of their recording there. Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" was also recorded there, as was Wings' "Band on the Run," Radiohead's "OK Computer," and most recently the soundtracks to "Harry Potter" and "Lord of the Rings." The street crossing out front, made famous by The Beatles' "Abbey Road" cover, is not part of the sale.
