Doug Fieger has died

Doug Fieger best known for The Knack's 'My Sharona' has passed following several bouts with cancer.

Though he was more than a 'one hit wonder' the rock anthem he co-wrote and sang at the height of the so called disco era which proved that rock was not going anywhere despite what some were saying at the time, in that disco would replace it was seminal.R.I.P. Doug
