Syncrude unearths rare fossil in oil sands
The Canadian oil sands have been prime real estate for dinosaur fossils. On Thursday, Syncrude announced it made a big fossil find when one of its heavy equipment operators unearthed what is believed to be a nearly complete plesiosaur skeleton.
