We all know this election is going to be about the economy. President
Barack Obama knows it, Mitt Romney knows it and so do the media -- even
though at times pundits pretend it's about much smaller and sillier
topics.
The difference, as the president told the country last week, is
that he is the only candidate in the race who truly understands that
it's about a very specific part of our economy: the middle class.
