Hellbender salamanders are huge, slimy salamanders that have the
ability to breathe through their skin! They're also an endangered
species. When Nick Baker went searching for them in the Ozarks, he found
a few that were disturbingly mutated - check it out in this video.
Ozark hellbender populations are dwindling, but the causes are as murky as the salamanders' future.
