Protective dog rushed to stop crawling baby from getting too close to the sea
A Cocker Spaniel-type dog proved to be a baby's best friend on a Turkish beach last week.
As the baby's mother threw a ball for the dog at a beach at Kabak Koyu
on Turkey's south-western coast, her attention was distracted from her
child who began to crawl towards the sea.
As the baby got close to the water, the dog instinctively realised the danger and ran to the child, lying between it and the waves, preventing it from entering the water, before the mother rushed over to rescue her child.
