‘Open government’ launch marred by spelling mistake
Kathleen Wynne, Premier of Ontario in Canada was forced to spell-check
her own press conference when a reporter pointed out a glaring but
previously unnoticed spelling mistake.
The podium the Premier was standing at had the words “open goverment” written across the front.
“That is really not good,” she said when the mistake was pointed out.
She was given a pen by someone off-camera and tried to insert the missing ‘n.’
“That is really not good,” she said when the mistake was pointed out.
