Kangaroo spotted in Russian forest unimpressed with offer of a banana
A couple driving through a forest in southeastern Russia had a bizarre
encounter after spotting a kangaroo on the side of the road
and attempted to feed it a banana before it hopped away.
The male driver drives towards the mysterious creature, apparently
thinking it is a hare. But his wife can be heard exclaiming “Kangaroo!”
in a thick Russian accent. Oddly enough, she’s right.

According to local media, residents of the Saratov region have
previously spotted the stray kangaroo at least twice this year. There is
speculation that the animal could have fled from a private zoo owned by
a local businessman.
