Waves aren't just on the surface of the water

You've probably heard before about the idea of ocean mixing, where cold water from the murky depths rises up to the surface and warm water from the surface flows down. Turns out, one of the mechanisms that creates this effect is massive underwater waves — some of which can be more than 1600 feet high.
