Who Invented the Internet?
Asking
who invented the internet is like asking who invented politics or
plumbing. A complex system is the result of many innovations built upon
by many different people over time. Some of the technological
breakthroughs were from people working on a specific task that later
became used for something completely different. The internet as we know
it was developed not only by those who invented the technology, but also
by those who saw extra potential in each innovation and exploited it
