A police officer from Norwood Police Department in Massachusetts filed a
report on Sunday about a deer that had committed numerous traffic
violations.
The deer had apparently veered over double yellow lines, into the lane of approaching traffic.
When the officer motioned for the offender to pull over, “the violator
abruptly turned left, (without signalling) and fled up Berwick Place.”
According to the report,
there being nothing other than traffic violations, the officer decided
not to pursue in the interest of safety. The officer concluded with: “I
radioed a description and direction of travel last seen.”
