A 52-year-old woman from Wheeling, Illinois, who authorities say entered
a home and helped herself to beer is being held on $100,000 bond.
Lidia Zuradzka faces residential burglary charges after authorities say
she entered a stranger's home on Monday. The female homeowner was
upstairs when Zuradzka entered through an unlocked door.
The homeowner came downstairs and discovered Zuradzka, a stranger, standing in the living room holding a beer that had been on a table.
When the homeowner asked Zuradzka what she was doing, Zuradzka responded, "I want beer." Zuradzka fled after the woman screamed.
