Playing in the pro-am event ahead of Thursday’s start of the Victorian
Open, Green found the hole off the tee via an unusual route.
After landing in a greenside bunker, the ball then seemingly defied the laws of physics by jumping out of the sand and rolling straight into the hole. Green assumed his tee shot had remained in the bunker.
"I haven't had anything like that happen before,
I have had hole in ones during tournaments but they have been shots
that have landed by the hole and found their way in," he said.
