Footage has been released of a man driving a car after his passenger
deliberately set off a fire extinguisher, filling the vehicle with vapor.
Charlie Jones, 21, of Peacehaven, East Sussex, was jailed for dangerous
driving after a video he uploaded onto Facebook was reported to Sussex
Police.
The video, which Jones entitled "classic nearly died twice", was recorded in August 2014. In the footage, he is heard to shout: "I can't see, I can't see."
Appearing at Lewes Crown Court, Jones was jailed for 10 weeks for
dangerous driving. He was also banned from driving for 18 months and
ordered to pay £1,000 costs.
He will be required to sit an extended driving test before being allowed
to return behind the wheel.
