'Vibrator Bandits' arrested during drug bust
Springfield Narcotics Detectives arrested three suspects on Thursday
night they believe to be the “Vibrator Bandits” from West Springfield,
Massachusetts.
According to Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney, at around 7:00pm,
Narcotics Detectives watching for drug deals recognized the three
suspects from surveillance photos.
The three are believed to have stolen lubricant and four vibrators, one
big one and three small ones, from a CVS in West Springfield.
On Thursday, Sgt. Delaney said they were allegedly seen on surveillance
near the Family Dollar parking lot conducting a drug deal.
Detectives arrested all three suspects; 27-year-old Kristy Beck of Ware,
27-year-old Anthony Caputo of Ludlow, and 25-year-old Charles Paine of
Palmer.
Sgt. Delaney said two rocks of crack cocaine and three suboxone strips were seized, but no vibrators.
All three were charged with possession of crack cocaine. Beck was also
charged with possession of Suboxone.
West Springfield police were notified of the arrest by Springfield
police and are expected to seek complaints pertaining to the alleged
vibrator heist against the trio in District Court.
