Artist Victor Engbers built a greenhouse for the Amsterdam Light Festival
out of uranium glass. The glass has a nice green tinge, but glows
radiantly under a blacklight. Yes, it does contain a little uranium.
It's been used mainly for dishes, and was particularly popular during the 19th century and early 20th century, but this is the first time anyone's used it for windows.
See more pictures of the greenhouse in this Facebook album, including the inside of it. The house will be on display at the festival until January 8.
