Piggy runners helping to bring home the bacon for children's hospital

Crispy strips of mouth-watering bacon were the prize awaiting runners on Saturday at the Bacon Chase 5k run in Atlanta, Georgia.
Participants dressed in pig costumes and other unique attire as they ran five kilometers (3.1 miles) at the Atlanta Motor Speedway for free bacon.
Everyone who entered was entitled to unlimited free bacon throughout the course and at the finishing line. Charles Crawford, Jr. was the overall winner of the race.
The Bacon Chase in Atlanta was the first of a series of races organized across the US to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and help find cures for children with life-threatening illnesses.
