A woman who took a packet of Scotch eggs from a supermarket in Minehead, Somerset has apologized and paid up.
Officers say they are no longer seeking information about the theft and have said the matter had been dealt with by way of a ‘community resolution.’
A community resolution resolves a minor offense or anti-social behavior incident through informal agreement between the parties involved, according to the Ministry of Justice.
