Jerome Dauffy wanted to build a flying machine that could travel around
the world in 80 days. He might not be there just yet, but he designed a
flying car he calls Pegasus that resembles a dune buggy crossed with a
paraglider.
On
Wednesday, pilot Bruno Vezzoli took off from Calais, France, and flew
it to Dover, England, across the English Channel. The 36-mile flight
