Walmart announced Thursday that it would boost its starting wage for U.S. workers to $11 an hour, provide bonuses to certain associates and expand maternity and parental leave.
In a statement, the nation's largest private employer said the changes -- which will benefit more than 1 million U.S. workers -- were prompted by the recent tax overhaul.
