A man is facing charges, accused of breaking into his brother-in-law's east Houston home and beating him with a toilet seat.
Luis Ortiz, 29, is charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to
commit assault. According to the victim, Ortiz went to his home on June
24 at 8pm.
According to court documents, Ortiz banged on the door, but his brother-in-law told him to go away. Ortiz then reportedly broke through the front door and began to use a toilet seat to hit his brother-in-law.
Investigators say the victim fell to the floor and Ortiz continued to hit him. Ortiz is in custody. There's no bond in his case.
